Barney and Fred
Fancy eating your bed
Like the guinea pigs Barney and Fred
Who nibble away
Wood shavings and hay.
I should never feel
Like making my house a meal
And gnawing the wood
To do my teeth good.
I never met anyone yet
Who eat the floor and carpet
Except, as I said, Barney and Fred
